Siprem VS Vacuum Press

Eco-friendly vacuum press with a patented vacuum system that recovers CO2 from fermentation and reuses it during grape pressing. Extracts must or wine of a much higher quality than is achievable using traditional systems.

Product Specs

Winner of the SIMEI 2022 Lucio Mastrobernardino Innovation Award for New Technology* for its ability to limit harmful gas emissions, the VS Vacuum Press reuses fermentation gas by capturing the CO2 and using it in the juice pressing. Valves on the top of the fermentation tanks send the gas through a single pipe and into a buffer tank. Its vacuum technology then automatically takes the gas from the buffer tank and uses it during the pressing cycle. This not only reduces its environmental impact but also protects the grapes from oxygen at zero cost for gas, extracting must or wine of a much higher quality than is achievable using traditional systems.

  • Models range from a tank size of 20 hectolitres to 505 hectolitres.
  • Press construction is very similar to conventional pneumatic presses
  • Juice/wine is extracted by vacuum instead of pressure
  • Very gentle yet extremely efficient
  • Intelligent programming available
  • Enclosed system capable of pressing with inert gas
  • Programming and operation is identical to pneumatic presses
  • Units are self-contained requiring a very small amount of compressed air to operate valves
