Padovan Dynamos Upgrades

ATPGroup has worked with Padovan to bring equipment upgrades to our Dynamos customers and provide a range of options. These upgrades not only enhance productivity but also introduce new features, all without the need for investing in entirely new equipment.

Option 1 — Dynamos 20 upgrade

Depending on model/ year some of these options may already be equipped on your unit.

  • Integrity test at the start of a CIP & in between cycles of CIP. (Program only)
    • This can significantly reduce the risks of causing a domino effect inside the bell.
  • Automatic nitrogen introduction into filtrate side of disk at end of product discharge. (Program only)
    • Will prevent pores on disks from plugging in the event a CIP/ Rinse is not initiated immediately after discharging.
  • Automatic backwash at the start of filtration. (Program only)
    • Stabilizes flowrates earlier in the filtration run to allow for faster concentration of product.
  • Automatic venting through CV24 during Peroxide Hold.
    • Eliminated the need to manually vent during cycle pause. (Program only)
  • Pressurized turbidity meter. (Program & cutting/ welding)
    • Allows the unit to operate with no false alarms when filtering fermenting juice lees.
  • FIT4 flowmeter on Retentate (Program & cutting/ welding)
    • Automatic speed increments of M1 to assure proper flow of product to minimize risk of over concentration in bell.
  • MV2 on filtrate. (Program & cutting/ welding)
    • Automatic modulating valve on filtrate to produce consistent back pressure will prevent spikes in pressure and consistent flowrate during filtration.

Option 2 — Dynamos HP upgrade

This upgrade includes all the above plus the following:

    • Adding 8 meters more per shaft of filtration surface area by installing thinner spacers, allowing an additional 14 disks more per shaft, larger M1, and larger piping on the inlet/ retentate side.
    • Complete replacement of all Disks to stronger HP Disks.
      • You can expect to nearly double your current flow rate per hour.
