Ideal for the production of quick-to-market red wines that are smooth, fresh, and very fruity with velvety tannins. Enhances red and black fruit notes while improving the smoothness and balance of red wines. Masks drying tannins on the finish, bringing sweetness and roundness to wines while decreasing astringency, especially from early-harvested grapes.

  • Short to medium lag phase.
  • Medium and regular fermentation kinetics.
  • Optimum temperature fermentation range: 62.6-82.4°F (17-28 °C).
  • Medium nitrogen requirements: ratio YAN (mg/L) / Initial sugars (g/L) ≥ 0.8 – 0.9
  • Good ethanol tolerance (16%).
  • Easy-2-Use™.
  • Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Application: Ideal for varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache, Tempranillo, Nero d’Avola and Nebbiolo.
