Citric Acid can be used for acidification in Flavored Malt Beverages. It can also be used for acid washes and passivation of stainless steel tanks and vessels ATPGroup carries both domestic and imported Citric.
- Neutralizes with a caustic rinse. (3% w/w NaOH solution)
- Other names: 2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid.
Application: Added during ingredient blending of Flavored Malt Beverages or after a water rinse in vessels for passivation.
