Brewtan B, Brewtan C, and Brewtan F are 100% natural gallotannins specially designed for the brewing industry. These tannins improve the clarity and shelf life of beer by reacting with haze-sensitive proteins (proteins rich in proline) and SH-group-containing proteins by adsorption and precipitation. They also chelate iron, thereby inhibiting the Fenton oxidation reaction.

- Used in the mash tun as iron chelator (2–6 ppm)
- Used in brew kettle for kettle fining ( 2–6 ppm)
- Brewtan C: Used in aging tanks for colloidal stability (5–8 ppm)
- Brewtan F: Used in the filtration process for colloidal stability (1–2 ppm)
- Brewtan MF: Used with Padovan and Pentair crossflow beer membranes (5–15 ppm)
