The addition of a Viton O ring placed above the LDPE seals on the plunger shaft can be beneficial when the Ezi-action® Drum Pump is being used to pump large volumes. It can also be useful when there is an increase in back pressure when pumping fluids against gravity or when the fluids are very viscous. When dispensing very strong acids (e.g. 83% nitric acid) and crop protection chemicals, the addition of a Viton O ring improves the longevity and performance of the Ezi-action® Drum Pump.
