Glycerin

Additive used to improve texture and body in dealcoholized wine.

 

Enhances mouthfeel, body, and perceived sweetness in wine without adding sugar. Softens tannins and acidity, making it particularly useful in lower-alcohol or dealcoholized wines. Naturally produced during fermentation, supplemental glycerin can be added to finished wine to improve texture and balance, especially in wines that feel thin, harsh, or overly dry.
